I am an Exercise Physiologist & Certified Pilates Instructor, with advanced certifications in Foot & Gait Therapy and Osteoporosis-Safe Movement & Fitness. I am also a certified MELT Method (myofascial release) Instructor.
I offer private sessions tailored to your specific objectives. My holistic approach integrates the study of anatomy, biomechanics, and neuromechanics.
Private sessions may be fitness-focused or designed to address the rehabilitation of an acute injury or chronic condition. I am committed to supporting you in addressing your health goals, and to establishing a compassionate partnership to achieve the results and healing you need.
My passion for movement-based therapy began while I was addressing a long-term injury. This process was so transformational, that I was inspired to share this work with others. Whether it’s addressing acute or chronic pain, or guiding someone through a challenging fitness session, I love helping people make the mind-body connection to feeling better and moving more comfortably within their own bodies.
When I’m not in the studio, I engage my background in management consulting by working with organizations and causes that align with my passions. I also love hiking with my Australian Kelpie dogs, being a taste-taster for my husband’s latest recipes, traveling, and relaxing with a good book.
In-person sessions are held at my studio in Santa barbara, CA. Online sessions are conducted via zoom.
